How to stretch small shoes

 Hello shoe lovers...!

If you've ever fallen in love with a pair of shoes even though they're just a bit too small, you've probably looked for ways to stretch shoes without damaging them. I started looking because my mother got me a beautiful pair of shoes but I messed up my sizing and couldn’t exchange the pair, anyway stretching the shoe was the smartest idea, but if you have a pair of shoes that pinch a bit but feel like they'll still fit better than a size or half-size up if they just get used to your feet, never fear! There are lots of safe ways to stretch shoes without changing their shape or structure!
·       The natural at home method
One of the easiest ways to stretch shoes when they don't quite fit is to wear them around the house. Even if they're not comfortable, wearing them while you're on the computer, running the vacuum, or just lounging on the couch will help stretch them. If possible, you can also put on extra thick socks – or several pairs.

·       Frozen foot wear
You take a few Ziploc bags and fill them halfway full with water, check to make sure they don't leak, and then shove them in your shoes. Depending on where they're too small – narrow toes, narrow width, not quite long enough – you can situate the bags so they target those areas. You'll want to keep them in place somehow; rubber bands work best. Then you shove your shoes in the freezer and give the water time to turn into ice. As it does so, it expands – and so the bags expand in your shoes. When it's frozen, you'll either pull out the bags or give them time to thaw. After that, you have to wear the shoes a while. They'll be cold, so you might want to wear socks again.

·       Spray stretching solution
Most shoe shops, especially cobbler shops, sell stretching solution. You just spray it according to the directions; some go inside, some go outside. You'll still have to wear your shoes around the house, but the solution helps them stretch easily. Now, some sprays can mess with the colour of your shoes, so definitely read the directions. If you want to make your own, some footwear fashionista’s recommend mixing up a spray bottle containing one part rubbing alcohol with one part water, or rubbing down your shoes with alcohol, and then wearing them. You can even soak your socks in alcohol and wear them with your shoes.

·       Hair dryer magic
Going back to number one, pull on some thick socks, or several pairs, shove your feet in those pesky shoes, and then get to work with your hairdryer. Use a hot setting but don't put the dryer flush against your shoes; you don't want to scorch them. As they heat up, make sure you wiggle your toes and flex your feet to help the process. As they cool, try them without socks. If they still pinch, just repeat the process.

·       Invest on a shoe stretcher
Shoe stretchers are great, and if you find you frequently buy too-small shoes, getting one makes a good investment. You just have to choose one that's the same size as your foot, paying attention to both width and length. Most of them are adjustable, which definitely helps. The only problem is that this method takes several days, but it's also one of the safest ways to stretch shoes.

what your wardrobe colour say about your personality

Hello fashion lovers,
This is your friendly stylist Raffealla, I thought of sharing something very interesting this time which says many things about you as I always say and believe what you wear is the reflection of yourself.. What is your favorite colour? Let’s check out what your favorite wardrobe colour say about you…
An abundance of research has been done on the psychology of colour and the things your clothing colours say about you and your home. Studies have also looked into the effects colour can have on your mood and energy and the impact it can have. The colours you wear can help you build confidence too. Here are some interesting things your clothing colours may say about you and some tips to help add a variety of colour into your wardrobe.
·        BLACK - You may have noticed that black is a popular colour with villains or the evil Gothic fairy-tale characters, the simple reason being it symbolises power and authority. It's a popular colour for interviews because it conveys seriousness and it's obviously associated with mourning. However, a wardrobe which consists of mainly black garments might scream lack of imagination so try and throw in some colour. Wearing back with another colour or a statement accessory will also add impact.
·        BROWN- is a relaxing, earthy colour and there are many hues from which to choose. It is the colour of steadfast and durable items such as wood which is why it is often associated with trustworthiness. Avoid wearing it on its own though as it will look boring, but mixing it with other colours such as green can really bring it to life. Brown is certainly less threatening than black which can be a little on the morbid side.
·        WHITE is a great colour to wear, It denotes youth, vitality and purity and when worn head to toe, can add real impact. Ivory and cream also convey the same ideas of immaculacy. Its ability to reflect the light means it is a popular colour in warmer climes. Different textures like linen and silk will soften the appearance, but obviously care needs to be taken to keep the whites looking white instead of turning a dirty grey in the wash.
·        BLUE is the colour of stability and trust. It is a great colour to wear for interviews because of its association with peace and tranquillity and it's one of the least threatening colours to wear. The many different shades of blue mean there is almost certainly a hue of blue for you out there.
·        PURPLE shows creativity and sensitivity in the wearer. It is associated with spiritualism and meditation, and there are many different shades to choose from such as lilacs, violets and lavender. It is also associated with royalty and wealth, and many people believe that wearing this colour can bring money into their lives. Another reason to populate your wardrobe with purple!
·        GREEN is the colour of nature and gives off an air of peace and comfort. It also shows you're creative and have an active imagination. A dark green tone connotes a well-balanced and trustworthy nature whilst a bright green signifies a lively personality. The shade you wear will depend on your skin tone.
·        RED Is such an energising colour, has many ideas, for an example passion, love and romance. Of course it shows danger, be careful when you wear the colour because it is such a loud colour with so much weight.

There are simple ways to gain colour confidence and find the right hue for you. Simply hold up a garment to your face and if it appears that your face is lit from underneath and the colour enhances your eye colour then bingo, grab the dress! If however, the colour stands out more than you do and your complexion looks uneven in tone, then put it right back where you found it.
Here we go again may be on another article ill write more about colours. As I always say life is too short to wear boring clothes… have fun with colours ladies. If there is anything you want know write to me on crazzystylist@gmail.com .

Fashion tips for short girls

Hey beautiful fashion lovers,
I am your friendly stylist Raffealla. This article because of a mail I got from senani gunasekara she is a beautiful girl and her only problem is she is short but lady I think you are gorgeous and all good things come in small packages as this is a common issue that we hear most of the times I thought writing about it.
Fashion tips for short girls can cover a range of topics. From the colours you wear to what styles of clothes to avoid, there seems to be a wealth of dos and don’ts out there. While my main fashion tip for short girls is to have confidence and stand tall, if creating the illusion of extra height is what you want to achieve then take a look at the following fashion tips for shorter girls.
Fashion tips for short girls
·        Wearing a single colour from head to toe can help create an elongated silhouette, giving the illusion of height. Too many different colours can break up your silhouette, creating a blocky appearance.
·        One of the most obvious and embraced fashion tips for short girls is to wear heeled shoes. Whether you’re after a bit of a lift or added inches, a pair of heeled shoes will physically give you extra height. If you’re not used to teetering around in stilettos, why not try a ‘safer’ option like a wedge shoe?
·        Creating the appearance of being taller is all about proportions. Wearing high waisted shorts, pants or skirts creates a kind of optical illusion. The higher waist leads to the appearance of longer legs and thus a more willowy silhouette.
·        When it comes to fashion tips for short girls for wearing pants, it’s all about getting the right proportions. You’ll want a fitted style that isn’t too bulky. Boot cut and slightly flared jeans can make you appear taller. Try and avoid any wide-legged or overly voluminous styles.
·        When choosing a pair of pants, avoid cropped styles. Pants that finish above the shoe can also create the appearance of thicker legs. You want a hem that covers most of your shoe as this will give the appearance of longer legs.
·        When it comes to fashion tips for short girls, belts can be dangerous territory. Using a belt to cinch in a dress or top can effectively cut your body in half and hamper efforts of creating an elongated silhouette. As a general rule, however, stick to slimmer belts as they are better proportioned.
·        Wearing dark colours can give you a sleeker, streamlined appearance. That’s why we have the whole ‘black is slimming’ theory, right? Wearing dark colours together can help create an elongated silhouette for shorter girls.
·        For a long time we’ve been fed the line that horizontal stripes will make us appear wider. So, according to this theory, vertical stripes should have the opposite effect. You don’t have to wear multiple stripes either, as a single vertical stripe can have the same lengthening effect.
·        Shoes with pointed toes can give the appearance of added height. So if heels aren’t your thing and you’re hell bent on wearing flat shoes ditch the ballet flats and opt for a pointed toe instead.
·        V-shapes and U-shaped necklines also aid the illusion of height for short and petite girls. They can also be much more flattering than high necklines and collars.

So here we go girls …some awesome fashion tips for our little packages. Hope your will try this and let me know what you think about it.. Write to me about anything you want to know or share with me on crazzystylist@gmail.com.

Life is too short to wear boring clothes...Like Edith head says you can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.

Love,
Raffealla.
